Kris Aquino returns to The Buzz

Kris Aquino returned to The Buzz on Sunday. Kris left the show after feuding with former co-hosts, but returned on Sunday wearing a white gown. Kris brought her two sons to the set. Ms. Aquino had this to say about lessons she's learned.

"Kasi sa lahat ng Christian book na nabasa ko talaga, ang focus mo daw should be on today. Kasi daw, if you keep looking back parang hindi ka nagmo-move forward. But yet, dapat daw you have enough trust in God na hindi mo kailangan malaman what tomorrow holds. Kasi, kailangan talaga magtiwala ka talaga na if I make today good, si God na ang gagawa ng paraan na gaganda ang bukas."

Vanessa Hudgens and Corazon Aquino related

Vanessa Hudgens, popular Filipina-American actress of High School Musical 3, is related to former President of the Philippines Corazon Aquino, according to Corazon's daughter, popular TV host and actress Kris Aquino. Kris revealed it today on her TV show Boy and Kris. Vanessa Hudgens' mom's family name is Cojuangco, which is Corazon Aquino's maiden name. Corazon was born María Corazón Sumulong Cojuangco. Kris told her mom, and she said it was possible since Tonyboy Cojuangco's grandfather stayed in Cebu for a while, the place where Vanessa's Filipina mom is from. Kris welcomed Vanessa to the Philippines and said that the next time she comes that they'll have a family reunion.

Kris Aquino in Magkano Ang Iyong Dangal?

Kris Aquino will star in ABS-CBN's Magkano Ang Iyong Dangal?, the remake of the 1989 movie directed by Laurice Guillen. Kris has reportedly agreed to play Zsa Zsa Padilla's role.

Piolo Pascual Scandal

Piolo Pascual: "I'm excited about the project, it's the first time I produce. I hope it turns out well," says Piolo Pascual on his upcoming independent film Manila."There are some controversies, pero we're happy because tapos na kami sa shoot," Piolo told PEP when asked for an update about Manila."Post-production na, I'm gonna see the rough cut tonight. I hope they'll be able to iron things out with Mr. Ricky Lee and Mr. Pete Lacaba. I'd rather not comment about it because I only found out about it yesterday. So, I haven't really discussed it with my director. I'm meeting up with him tonight, si Direk Adolf Alix Jr. But I'm praying na maayos naman."

Piolo's leading lady Angel Locsin had a minor injury during the shooting of their yet-untitled movie from Star Cinema.

SAM: What is your idea of beautiful?

PIOLO: Someone who has sense and can really carry herself a good conversation.

DINGDONG: For me, someone who can carry herself even if she still all wrapped up and she can still be sexy even if she doesn't show her skin. And of course, someone who is God-fearing.

Sandara Park returns to Philippines

Sandara Park came home to the Philippines, the country she grew up in since she was 11 years old, this past weekend: "Maraming lumapit sa akin, kinausap nila ako ‘tapos yung iba nagpa-picture pa. Kilala pa rin pala ako ng mga tao dito. Akala ko limot na nila ako," says Sandara Park about her arrival at the airport.

"Krung krung" made a special appearance on ASAP this past Sunday.

Sandy also stopped by The Buzz to talk.

Katrina Halili: "E, siyempre po, si Joross. Kasi mas palagi kong kasama...palagi kong ka-text, pero, friends lang po talaga, " says Katrina Halili when asked who between Joross Gamboa and Marvin Agustin has a better chance to date her.

Gabby Concepcion: "Hindi, kasi baka sabihin ginagamit. Hindi naman kung sinu-sino nga si KC, okay. Gusto ko, ako lang muna," replies Gabby Concepcion when asked why he doesn't have a duet with daughter KC Concepcion in his debut album.

Bea Alonzo wants John Lloyd Cruz in Betty

Bea Alonzo hopes John Lloyd Cruz will be her leading man in Betty La Fea: "But I really hope na siya pa rin. I'm hoping na kung hindi man si John Lloyd, isang magaling na actor will play Armando. But it will be nice kung siya pa rin kasi mas kaunti na yung adjustments."

Calvin Chen and Wu Chun were interviewed by the local press upon their arrival in Manila to promote their hit TV series on ABS-CBN, Romantic Princess.

Joaquin Bordado and Lobo both ended their runs with high TV ratings last Friday, July 11.

Deal Or No Deal visits the Philippines

Deal Or No Deal was shooting in the Philippines 2 weeks ago, and Howie Mandel was wowed when Kris Aquino brought out the "26K" babes.

Howie Mandel and Kris Aquino 'Deal or No Deal'

Kris Aquino about co-hosting with America's Deal or No Deal Howie Mandel, who will tape a special episode called Deal or No Deal—Around the World here in the Philippines: "I'm very, very honored and flattered. I'm also very excited about it. And I'm also very confident because I know that what we produced is a great show, so I know that even the Americans will still enjoy our version of Deal or No Deal."

Dubbed as Queen of Talk and Game Shows, Kris Aquino finally met her U.S. counterpart Howie Mandel of America's Deal or No Deal.

Hours after they arrived yesterday, April 22, Howie, Scott St. John, and the rest of Deal or No Deal group attended the media junket prepared by ABS-CBN for their two-hour special episode of Deal or No Deal—Around the World, part of which will be shot in ABS-CBN studio tomorrow, April 24.

For logistics reasons, according to Endemol (producer of Deal or No Deal), the Philippines was chosen as one of the three countries that would cover "around-the-world tour" in Asia, Europe, and Africa. The group has also taped an episode in Estonia in Europe. PEP

Pasion de Amor (Pasion de Gavilanes) returns to television this Monday at 12pm on NBC-Telemundo. A ratings hit in over 100 countries worldwide, and in the Philippines as well, so much so that a Tagalog remake starring Jon Avila is currently in production by ABS-CBN, here in the USA, it airs for the third time, it's that popular.
