"Una sa lahat medyo nakahinga na po ako ng konti dahil sa sobrang suporta po ng mga kaibigan natin, syempre ang mga boss ng Star Cinema, mga kaibigan namin sa showbiz at sa non-showbiz. Maganda naman po ang mga reactions nila, kahit na medyo-medyo lang naman—ibang Vhong Navarro ang nakita nila sa pelikula. At natutuwa naman ako dahil nagustuhan naman nila. Does Toni feel pressure about the box office sales of My Only U?

"Masaya dahil maganda naman ang naging reactions ng mga nakapanood. Kaya sobrang nagpapasalamat kami sa lahat ng mga nanood sa premiere night. Kayo na po'ng bahala na mag-spread ng good words about our movie. Sana yung mga manonood pa lang, sana magustuhan din nila yung movie. Sana matanggap din nila yung bagong handog namin ni Vhong," Toni told the press today.

Toni Gonzaga is close friends with both Anne Curtis and Sam Milby. Toni was rumored to be dating Sam. When asked about the breakup, Toni refused to comment about her friends.

"Bago pa man natin narinig ang issue na ‘yan, marami na rin tayong naririnig na nag-on, nag-break...nag-on, nag-break. Sa ngayon kasi, I don't wanna comment regarding other people's personal lives. Hayaan na lang natin na sila ang magsalita para sa mga personal nilang buhay."

"Masayang-masaya ako for my sister and I'm very proud of her. Di maiiwasan yung nagkakapreho kami ng kilos, ng pananalita, kasi magkapatid kami. Toni Gonzaga and Vhong Navarro were together in the horror-comedy D’Anothers in 2005, and now Vhong and Toni have reunited in My Only U. Vhong and Toni were also hosts on Wazzup Wazzup on Studio 23.

Toni Gonzaga says that her friendship with Vhong Navarro has been "proven and tested" through the years. The two are paired together in the Star Cinema movie My Only U, which will open on October 29.

Sarah Geronimo met Howie Dorough of the US boy band Backstreet Boys who arrived in Manila, Tuesday, September 23rd to record a music video with her and help promote her newest album entitled "Just Me."

In an interview with the two, Geronimo and Dorough revealed that it was their first time to meet since they recorded their song “I'll Be There” separately.

"Actually this is the first time I got to meet Howie. We didn't record together," Geronimo said.

"Unfortunately that time I was in between Backstreet Boys tours and I had a very short time to do it. So, Christian de Walden actually came to me in Orlando where I was back home with my family for a couple days off and I recorded my vocals there. I already heard her sing on it and I was already singing with her on the demo," Dorough said.

Dorough said that he is very happy to do a project with Geronimo.

"She's a lovely lady. When I was asked about doing a project with her about four or five months ago by Christian de Walden I was very honored. I went online and I checked out on the internet and realized that she's a huge superstar here and around the world," he said.
"I was in Canada for Backstreet Boys on tour just a month ago in two different areas. I was at a different place where I bumped into some people from the Philippines and I said I was going to the Philippines they said 'ah for vacation' and I said 'I'm actually working with a girl name Sarah Geronimno' and they said 'Oh Sarah Geronimo!'. She's very popular, very, very famous around the world," said Dorough.

The male singer said that he finds Geronimo to be a very humble and sweet girl, while Geronimo confirmed her admiration for the Backstreet Boy.

"I'm a big, big fan super. Very happy. Isn't it obvious that I'm very happy. Happy and honored to work with you Howie Dorough," said Geronimo.

She said that it's actually another dream come true for her to be working with Dorough.

"I can't believe before I'm just listening to my walkman.... 'I want it that way'. Another dream comes true. I've only daydreamed about this and I never thought this would happen," Geronimo said.

Geronimo asked Dorough to try and eat the best Filipino dishes like chicken adobo, pork adobo, sinigang and kare-kare.

Dorough who just got married said that he will take time to try the dishes with his lovely wife. He said he hopes that he could go back to the country for another project.

"You have beautiful islands and people. We're here last time for our tour two or three years ago. I would love to come here and do more projects in the future," he said.

Before the interview ended Geronimo and Dorough invited the people to grab a copy of "Just Me."

"I think this album is a great album. It has original songs and I'm hoping everybody will get a copy of 'Just me,'" Geronimo said.

Geronimo and Dorough will have a music video of their song "I'll Be There."

On Sunday they will be together for autograph signing and a show at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

Geronimo, who started her career by joining a singing contest on television, has her next concert dubbed as "The Next One" set on November 8.

"The Next One" is directed by Johnny Manahan with Louie Ocampo as the musical director.

Aside from her weekly performances on the entertainment show, ASAP ’08, viewers can also watch Geronimo in her out-of-town shows.

Kristine and John Lloyd? And Bea, Miss Betty La Fea? Best seller immediately. So please, ABS-CBN, please release it to DVD. Thank you. Toni Gonzaga and younger sister Alex Gonzaga are the new spokesmodels for Faces & Curves.

In a press conference and luncheon held at Little Asia restaurant in Greenhills's The Promenade, last May 9, the program began with the exclusive premiere of the center's stunning black-and-white billboard, featuring close-up shots of the Gonzaga sisters, as well as a short video documenting the photo shoot for the billboard.



After Toni was introduced, she serenaded the press people present with a live performance of her hit single "Catch Me, I'm Fallin'" before proceeding with the actual contract signing for her latest project.



When asked about how she felt being Faces & Curves's new celebrity endorser, Toni said with a humble smile, "I feel very blessed, and very happy and thankful that I would get to endorse Faces & Curves na talagang I believe in and I trust."



She even joked, "When I heard nga that they're interested to get me, it felt right. I went with it right away. When I found out na hindi na ako magbabayad for facial, siyempre natuwa ako!"



Actually, Toni has been a long-time patron of Faces & Curves's services especially the ones involving facial and body skin care, which she gets once or twice a month. But don't get her wrong. She is quick to dispel any hasty generalizations that she's vain.



"Hindi naman yung vain na super vain. Siguro bilang isang artista, kailangan naming pangalagaan ang katawan namin, ang kutis namin. So, yung katamtaman na vain lang," she clarifies.



SISTER ACT. When asked about how she felt working with her sister in a project for the very first time, Toni said, "Wala lang, para kaming nasa bahay. Mas comfortable nga ako kasi I'm with my sister."



Toni has surely received a lot of blessings lately in her career, given her slew of successful movies, her numerous hosting projects, her two hit albums, a concert that spawned a repeat last May 2 at the Aliw Theater, and several endorsement deals including her latest for Faces & Curves.



But despite these, Toni shares that she is still thankful that she has even more projects slated for the rest of the year. She added, "I'll be in a movie, I'll be hosting a new show, and yung iba pa, I can't share the details yet. But for sure it's going to be with ABS-CBN."



Not to be outdone, Alex is also busy with projects of her own. After debuting in ABS-CBN's teen-oriented sitcom Let's Go! and its spin-off Gokada Go!, she is currently seen in ABS-CBN's Sunday afternoon series Your Song Presents: Without You opposite Star Circle Teen Quest Batch 1 alum Joross Gamboa and Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition Season 2 ex-housemate Victor Basa.



TREATING MOM RIGHT. Spotted during the presscon was Toni's mom and manager, Tin-Tin Gonzaga. With Mother's Day just around the corner, what are Toni and Alex's plans for the special day?



"Kasi for us, parang every day is Mother's Day. We don't treat our mom special just because it's Mother's Day. So, siguro this Sunday, after work, I'll be spending time with her. Hindi naman kailangang isang araw lang sine-celebrate ang Mother's Day. Every day is a celebration of Mother's Day," Toni said.

Marian Rivera and Piolo Pascual were chosen to be the new endorsers of Blue Water Spa.

The celebrity pair have replaced Toni Gonzaga and Brad Turvey as the celebrity endorsers. The two have already done a photo shoot together for the brand about three months ago. Piolo can be seen every night on Lobo, and Marian in the #1 show in the country Dyesebel.
