Judy Ann Santos is on the cover of Marie Claire magazine for November 2008. Judy is currently in talks for renegotiation with ABS-CBN, although there have been rumors that she could possibly transfer to GMA. Judy's boyfriend Ryan Agoncillo is in Argentina to film Pinoy Fear Factor. Ryan still has yet to propose to Judy Ann, although the couple say a wedding is coming soon.
Ryan had a spat with Piolo Pascual over Judy Ann a few years ago, but they have since made up at a friend's funeral.

Ryon Agoncillo also stars in ABS-CBN's Pieta, starting this Monday, and will play a villain for the very first time.
"Si Rigor kasi, medyo matindi ang baltik sa utak. Siyempre, sanay tayo na in life, very controlled in our actions. Pero si Rigor, ginagawa lang niya ang gusto niyang gawin at the moment. Kung anuman ang gusto niyang gawin, basta wala nang isip-isip, gagawin na lang niya. At yun ang pinakamahirap gawin. Like ako, kailangan kong iklaro yung utak ko at pakawalan ang sarili ko doon sa script."
He also has some sizzling love scenes with costar Krista Ranillo, but what does his girlfriend Judy Ann Santos have to say about that?
"She's been very supportive at kanino pa ba naman ako manghihingi ng advice, di ba, kundi sa kanya? Yung kissing scenes, noong makita ko yun sa script, ganoon talaga, e. Ganoon talaga ang hinihingi ng materyal. At si Judy Ann naman, she's been an actress for the longest time, and she's the least that will react sa mga ganoong eksena dahil napagdaanan na rin naman yun."
Pieta also stars Cherie Gil, for the first time playing a non-contravida, and Joross Gamboa.

Sharon Cuneta: Fanny Serrano, a very close friend of Sharon Cuneta, sent a text message to PEP to explain the Megastar's trip to Hong Kong dismissing rumors that Sharon and husband Kiko Pangilinan have decided to separate. "Alone time nilang mag-asawa ngayon, nauna lang umalis nang solo niya this week si Sharon. Hindi totoo na kasama niya sina Frankie at Miel dahil may pasok sa school ang mga bata. Next week naman, si Kiko ang mag-isang aalis," says Fanny.
Valerie Concepcion on Willie Revillame: "I think nakita niya siguro yung love for my work because of my daughter. So, parang lagi niya akong ina-advise noong umpisa pa lang na, ‘O, magtrabaho kang mabuti, para sa anak mo yan.' Ganun. Doon ko siya ni-love. Kasi si Kuya [Willie], para talagang family, kuya talaga," says Valerie Concepcion about Wowowee host Willie Revillame."Lahat ng hosts, buong staff [ng Wowowee]. Actually, nakapunta na rin ako sa Tagaytay rest house ni Kuya. Nakapag-jacuzzi ako. Judy Ann Santos: "I must admit, mayroon talagang mga dapat ayusin sa usapan, lalo na't nalalapit ang pagre-renew namin ng contract sa kanila. But, it's between my manager and the ABS-CBN executives. Sila ang mayroong mga hindi pagkakaintindihan diyan, kung mayroon man, and my primary concern, yung pagtatrabaho lang talaga."
Divas 2008: "It took so long because of so many obstacles. Unang-una, yung availability ng bawat isa sa kanila. Almost all of us naman are doing shows abroad kaya ang hirap mahanapan ng schedules. Kung kelan nandito ang tatlo, may isa naman na wala for many months. So, mahirap talaga to gather all of us together," says Kuh Ledesma (extreme right) about staging a concert together with feloow divas (from left) Regine Velasquez, Pops Fernandez, and Zsa Zsa Padilla.
Dennis Trillo: "Tahimik lang talaga ako, at naka-focus kasi ako sa trabaho. Ayoko lang maging masyadong close. Kasi, alam mo na... iwas na lang sa tsismis. 'Pag sa eksena naman, ibinibigay ko ang lahat. Kung wala lang take, nasa isang sulok lang ako," says Dennis Trillo on how focused he is now on his work.
JC de Vera: "Willing akong mag-explore, willing akong mag-improve, willing akong matuto. Ako kasi, ayokong ma-typecast dun sa drama lang ang kaya ko, ayokong masabihan ako ng gano'n. At least, masabi nila na ‘Kaya pala niyang gumanap ng bulag, pipi, at bingi.' Yung mga gano'n, gusto kong mag-explore," says JC de Vera about his capability as an actor.

Marian and Dingdong: "Kay Dong po ninyo itanong ‘yan. Basta ako, ganito na po ako noon pa, lagi akong masaya. Hindi ko po babaguhin ang sarili ko," replies Marian Rivera when asked if there is something special going on between her and Dingdong Dantes.
"Ngayon pa lang, nakaka-miss na kasi noong ending, exciting na lahat ng nangyayari. So, naging very active ang character ng lahat ng tao. Like ngayon, may mga eksenang ganito, di ba? So, ito ang mga things na mami-miss ko, like yung pagte-taping namin sa Palawan kung saan una naming kinuhanan ang mga underwater scenes," says Dingdong Dantes about what he'll miss about Dyesebel.

Rhian Ramos: "Masaya ako sa career ko, siguro sa bilis na rin ng takbo ng mga pangyayari. Yung first project ko pa lang, Captain Barbell na. After Barbell, hindi na ako nag-audition sa Lupin, kasi nakita na rin nila yung chemistry namin ni Chard [Richard Gutierrez]. Nung ibinigay yun sa akin, natuwa ako kasi yung naging dating para sa akin, ibig sabihin, nag-i-improve ako sa pag-arte. Gabby Concepcion's father and KC's grandfather, Mr. Rollie Concepcion, passed away earlier tonight at Lourdes Hospital.

The movie beat Sharon Cuneta's Caregiver, Tribu, and Endo as the official film nomination for the Philippines. Caregiver was okay, but had some extremely corny and cliche' movie lines in the script that ruined the feeling of the reality of the movie like "Not on my watch, sir" which sounded fake and unrealistic no matter how good of an actress Sharon is. Nobody actually talks like that in real life, at least anymore, anywhere in the world in 2008. I have a feeling the writers of the film were too influenced by Hollywood movies from the 1930s - 1950s, since many of the lines of the movie sounded just like antiquated and cliché movie lines that came right out of old Hollywood films. It's just like when Pinoy journalists use the word 'lass' to describe a young girl, they're English terms that are no longer currently used among people these days. Also, journalists in Manila, please stop using the word 'bag' all the time to describe someone winning awards, because it just sounds horrible and not classy at all, I can't stand seeing that in Philippine newspapers. Just compare this:"Actress bags Academy Award" or "Actress wins Academy Award". Journalists in other countries sometimes use the term 'bag', but they don't overuse it like journalists in Manila (and India) do, and it's only used casually and usually only in casual showbiz tidbits and magazines, but not on official articles in newspapers, because when it's something important like a Filipino winning an achievement award, and journalists say "Filipino bags scholastic award" like I've seen before, it just sounds bad, like it lessens the effect of prestige that winning an award should bring. Just use the word win, what's so hard about that?Crying Ladies was fantastic and had a unique story, and the atmosphere was so realistic. Caregiver on the other hand fulfilled all of the classic Pinoy cliches that we're used to seeing in Pinoy movies with the classic 4-minute "passing of time collage" with flashbacks of happy moments as a really emotional song plays in the background we've seen a million times in Pinoy movies, especially in movies made by Star Cinema.But that line "Not on my watch, sir" is gonna go down in history as one of the most famous lines from megastar Sharon Cuneta's movies, along with the classic "You're nothing but a second rate, trying hard copycat!" said by Cherie Gil to Sharon from Bituing Walang Ningning (watch video), hehe.
