Bea Alonzo, Jake only friends

Bea and Jake:"Kaibigan ko si Bea and I can say na suwerte ako na kaibigan ko siya. It's true na lumalabas kami, masaya kami ‘pag magkasama kami, pero magkaibigan lang talaga kami," says Jake Cuenca about the real score between him and Bea Alonzo.

Gabby Concepcion's father dies, Juday, Piolo reuniting?

Gabby Concepcion's father and KC's grandfather, Mr. Rollie Concepcion, passed away earlier tonight at Lourdes Hospital.

Codename Asero became the No. 1 primetime program for the first time since its debut with a 33 percent share, while Dyesebel fell to second place also for the first time with 32.4 percent. Bea Alonzo's I Love Betty La Fea made its debut last night at No. 5 with 23.9 percent, far lower than the expectations that were placed on the show.

Bora: Sons of the Beach was a fantastic comedy television series on ABS-CBN that starred Piolo Pascual, Jericho Rosales, Diether Ocampo, Carlos Agassi, and BJ Palanca that I'm sure many of us out there remember with fond memories.

Kristine Hermosa, Bea Alonzo, Toni Gonzaga, John Lloyd Cruz, and Assunta de Rossi were among the many famous guest stars.

I wish ABS-CBN would release it to DVD, because I'm sure reading many of the comments on the web, tons of people would buy it since a lot of people miss it a lot. And for sure, it would be a best seller, I mean look at all the huge stars that make up the cast, Piolo Pascual's name alone on the box would sell millions based on his popularity, add to that Diether and Jericho? Kristine and John Lloyd? And Bea, Miss Betty La Fea? Best seller immediately. So please, ABS-CBN, please release it to DVD. Thank you. And you'll be saying "thank you" to yourselves with the money you'll make with the DVD sales.

John Lloyd Cruz Betty La Fea's Armando

John Lloyd Cruz is Betty La Fea's Armando as revealed today on The Buzz. All I have to say is I do know that people from ABS-CBN are reading this blog, because of my cousin who works with them (and GMA as well), so I just gotta say thank God they listened to me and didn't cast Jake Cuenca, and I said to cast John Lloyd and they did. So that's good, because this role requires a really good actor, and the chemistry between Armando and Betty is so important, and it's quite established that John Lloyd and Bea have great chemistry.
ABS-CBN also listened to me sort of when I said to cast Assunta de Rossi in the cast. Well, they cast Alessandra de Rossi instead, and that's great, because I love her and I love that she'll be in this series because she's a great actress. There's a reason why at the age of 16 she won the FAMAS Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Azucena".

Piolo Pascual was a possible prospect for the role: “I’m not supposed to tell, it's a secret. People will find out and it shouldn't come from me,” Pascual said.

Bea Alonzo hopes John Lloyd Cruz will be her leading man in Betty La Fea: "But I really hope na siya pa rin. I'm hoping na kung hindi man si John Lloyd, isang magaling na actor will play Armando. But it will be nice kung siya pa rin kasi mas kaunti na yung adjustments."
