Katrina Halili is rumored to be dating Joross Gamboa, but when asked about the relationship, Joross insists there's nothing going on between him and Katrina:

"Yung sa amin, wala naman, e. Magkaibigan naman kami, wala namang nawala talaga. Tuloy pa rin yung communication namin. Nagte-textan pa rin. Dati, nag-date-date lang naman. Labas-labas lang."

However, it was revealed on TV5's Juicy a week ago by Katrina herself that Joross was indeed making ligaw to Katrina.

Joross says he's not ready for a deeper relationship.

"Ako kasi, hindi pa talaga ready sa serious relationship. Pero hindi mo rin masasabi kasi siguro yung trabaho, masyadong nakakaapekto rin."

So did his and Katrina's relationship end abruptly?

"Hindi naman bigla, parang medyo lang nag-lie low. Pero may communication pa rin kami kahit papaano," said Joross.

Katrina Halili: "Kailangan by November makapunta na kami roon kasi sobrang malamig na raw sa Amsterdam by January. E, ang costume ko pa naman sa Miss X, mga sexy, mga two-piece at maninipis, e, lamigin pa naman ako. Ngayon daw okey ang weather doon at ‘di masyadong kalamigan, kaya this coming November, tuloy ang shooting naming," announces Katrina Halili.

Masayang binalita ni Katrina Halili sa press launch ng Gagambino sa Studio 3 ng GMA-7 compound na tuloy ang paglipad niya for Amstersdam para sa shooting niya ng Miss X this coming November.

Inaayos na nga raw ni Katrina ang kanyang mga schedules para hindi magkaroon ng problema habang nagsu-shoot sila ng Miss X. Mga two to three weeks din daw sila roon at excited na si Katrina dahil first time niyang makagawa ng pelikula sa labas ng bansa.

"Noong sinabi sa akin, natuwa ako kasi akala ko next year na kami magsisimula pero sinabi sa akin na kailangan by November makapunta na kami roon kasi sobrang malamig na raw sa Amsterdam by January.

"E, ang costume ko pa naman sa Miss X, mga sexy, mga two-piece at maninipis, e, lamigin pa naman ako. Ngayon daw okey ang weather doon at ‘di masyadong kalamigan, kaya this coming November, tuloy ang shooting namin."

Nabanggit din ni Katrina na malapit na siyang matapos sa shooting niya sa One Night Only for Canary Films at magkaroon lang ng additional na eksena para sa pelikulang Sundo ng GMA Films.

"Mabilis kaming matatapos sa One Night Only. Halos every day kasi kami nagsu-shooting at mabilis talaga si Direk Joey Reyes. Sa Sundo naman, tapos na talaga ang mga eksena ko, pero magkakaroon yata ng re-shoot or additional na mga eksena si Direk Toppel Lee kaya may shooting sked ulit ako for GMA Films.

"Hindi ko lang sure kung kelan ipapalabas. Unang narinig ko ay baka raw early next year pero dahil nandito na si Robin [Padilla], baka November na ang showing. Yung One Night Only sa December iyon for the Metro Manila Film Festival. Kaya magkakasunod ang mga pelikula ko before the end of 2008."

KAT'S INSPIRATION. Nang tanungin ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Katrina tungkol sa ka-M.U. niyang si Kris Lawrence, sinabi nito na wala raw ngayon sa bansa si Kris at nasa U.S.A. daw ito. Constant naman daw ang communication nila kaya hindi raw niya ito nami-miss.

"Madalas kami mag-webcam kaya nagkikita kami parati. Okey naman si Kris at nami-miss ko ang physical presence niya. Siyempre, iba yung nandito siya na katabi mo kesa sa nakikita mo lang siya sa computer monitor, ‘di ba?"

"Inspiration" nga ang tawag ni Katrina kay Kris. Kapag may tinawag daw siyang gano'n, ibig sabihin ay importanteng tao ito sa buhay niya.

"Hindi lahat ng guys na naging close sa akin ay tinatawag ko na ‘inspiration.' Kapag natawag ko na siya na gano'n, something special iyon. Kaya special si Kris sa akin ngayon.

Anyway, gagampanan pala ni Katrina si Lucy ang isa sa dalawang leading ladies ni Dennis Trillo sa bagong telefantasya ng GMA-7 na Gagambino. PEP

Katrina Halili: "Inspirasyon lang naman. Hayaan n'yo na, para masaya," says Katrina Halili of her current inspiration, R&B singer Kris Lawrence. Kat admitted they already have a sort of "mutual understanding" kind of relationship.

Ayon sa presskit na ipinamigay sa press conference ng Gagambino kagabi, October 13, sa Studio 3 ng GMA-7, isang sexy star by profession ang role ni Katrina Halili bilang si Lucy but at the same time, crime fighter by obsession. May kapangyarihan siya mula sa praying mantis.

Pero kinorek ni Katrina ang nakasulat sa presskit at sey nga niya sa kaharap na press people kagabi, "Actually, artista po ako rito. Tinatawag nila akong sexy star. Pero sinasabi ko, ‘Hindi ako sexy star, actress ako!' Ha-ha-ha!"

Wala raw kahirap-hirap si Katrina sa ginaganapang bagong papel.

"Sobrang character ko po siya. As in, palaban din siya, pero, mabait din. ‘Tapos, makulit din. Pero hindi siya sobrang kulit, tama lang. As in, parang ako lang. Matapang din siya. Although, yung totoong Katrina, hindi naman siya pumapatay. Pero dito, si Lucy, pumapatay siya ng mga bad na tao."

Isang superhero si Katrina rito at nag-training nga raw siya bago pa man siya mag-taping kaya hindi raw siya kontrabida rito.

Hindi ba niya nami-miss ang pagiging kontrabida niya?

"Ay, hindi po...hindi ko siya nami-miss. Okey na ‘ko rito. Baka kapag gumawa na naman ako ng mga kontrabida roles, matutuwa lang ang mga detractors ko," natatawa pa niyang sabi.

Silang dalawa uli ni Dennis Trillo ang magkapareha sa Gagambino. From the heavy drama na Magdusa Ka, sa isang fantaserye naman sila ngayon magtatambal ni Dennis.

"Magkababata kami ni Dennis dito. Bata pa lang kami, sobrang may gusto na ‘ko sa kanya. ‘Tapos, nagkahiwa-hiwalay nga kami nang magpunta kami sa kuweba. Gusto ko pa rin siya, pero, may gusto na siyang iba, si Nadine," maikling pagkukuwento ni Katrina sa magiging takbo ng love triangle nilang tatlo nina Dennis at Nadine Samonte.

DENNIS CHANGED. During Magdusa Ka, ang reklamo lang ni Katrina kay Dennis ay ang pagiging sobrang tahimik daw nito na kahit all-effort na siyang magkausap sila, tahimik lang talaga ito.

Ngayon naman daw, may pagbabago na ito.

"Nagsasalita na naman siya, Ha-ha-ha! Okey naman na, nag-e-effort na naman siya."

Enjoy raw siya ngayon sa mga trabaho nila ni Dennis like in Gagambino.

"Nag-e-enjoy po. Sobrang relaxed. Hindi sobrang bigat. Kasi, from Magdusa Ka, nagdusa po talaga ko dahil sinabayan ng Obra, so, na-drain po akong talaga. Pero after, sobrang gaan na po lahat ng trabaho ko. Pati sa Sundo, kikay lang ako. ‘Tapos sa One Night Only, ganoon din, golddigger na kalog, kikay."

Dugtong pa niya, "Kaya sobrang gaan lang. Kahit dagdagan pa ng lima, okey lang, Ha-ha-ha!"

LOVE LIFE, NO. INSPIRATION, YES. Kung magaan ang lahat ng trabaho niya para sa kanya, kumusta naman kaya ang love life niya ngayon?

"Wala pa rin...pero may inspirasyon lang, okey na yun," nakangiti niyang sabi.

Masaya ba siya ngayon?

"Opo naman, siyempre, ang dami-rami kong trabaho. Hindi pa ba naman ako magiging masaya no'n, ‘di ba?

Ayon kay Katrina, puwede raw niyang sabihin na nasa M.U. stage or "mutual understanding" na sila ng napapabalitang inspirasyon niya na si Kris Lawrence. Kailan lang sila nagkakilala nang magkaroon ng show si Katrina sa U.S. last August, pero marami na raw siyang nakitang magagandang katangian at nagugustuhan sa binatang R&B singer.

"Inspirasyon lang naman. Hayaan n'yo na, para masaya," sey na lang niya.

CARLO J. CAPARAS'S SON. During the presentation of the cast, pinaakyat at pinagsalita rin ang orihinal na lumikha ng Gagambino na si Carlo J. Caparas. Sa mensaheng ibinigay niya, nabanggit nga niya at tila naibuko ang kasamang anak na binata sa pagsasabing, sabi raw ng anak niya, sexy nga raw pala sa personal si Katrina.

Tuloy, during the interview, hindi nakaligtas sa entertainment press si Katrina sa panunukso sa kanya na crush yata siya ng anak ni Carlo J. In fact, habang ini-interview nga namin si Kat, may nagbiro pa sa aktres na madalas siyang tintingnan ng anak ni Carlo.

"Wala...nagulat lang ako at natuwa kasi, kilala pala ko ni Direk. Nagulat lang talaga ko at natuwa," sabi na lang ni Kat.

Dennis Trillo is extremely proud of his new GMA-7 series Gagambino that he wants his son Calix to at least catch a glimpse of the show every night. "Gusto ko mapanood niya kasi espesyal sa ‘kin ‘tong project na ‘to...kaya gusto ko masaksihan niya itong event na ‘to sa buhay ko," shared Dennis at the press conference of the mentioned series last night, October 13.

Gagambino lead star Dennis Trillo insists that he is single and very much available.

But after his well-publicized falling out with beauty queen Carlene Aguilar and abrupt romance with Cristine Reyes, Dennis expressed his desire to remain unattached for the moment to devote more time to his career and personal life.

Last night, October 13, at the press conference of GMA-7's upcoming fantaserye Gagambino held at the Studio 3 of GMA Network Center, the young actor's demeanor seems to suggest a firm resolve to live in the present and put his past relationships behind.

For one, Dennis flatly stressed that he and Cristine are no longer together and that there's no clandestine meetings going on between them as what the rumor suggests.

"Gusto ko ‘yong parteng ‘yon ng buhay ko tapos na. Kaya hindi ko na masyadong iniisip. Ngayon, ginagawa kong busy ‘yong sarili ko sa pagti-train, sa tapings, sa pagpu-promote ng mga shows," he said to the entertainment press.

His present relationship with Carlene, however, is way much different since they share a son together and it is important for both parties to maintain an open communication for Calix Andreas's sake.

Carlene looks happy nowadays and she's honest enough to admit that she has moved on and is looking forward to start anew.

FALLING FOR KATRINA. Other than the action scenes, Gagambino also features a handful of beauties like Jean Garcia, Nadine Samonte, Isabel Oli, Glaiza de Castro, Jennica Garcia, and Katrina Halili.

Being joined by a number of beautiful women might be too much to handle for a single guy like Dennis . Mixing action and romance, directors Topel Lee and Don Michael Perez included kissing scenes between Dennis and Katrina to keep the viewers even more interested.

Asked if he's open with the thought of falling for the two-time FHM Philippines' Sexiest Woman, Dennis said intriguingly: "Ayoko naman magsalita ng tapos, di ba? Pero alam mo na hindi natin masasabi ‘yong mga posibilidad dahil matagal pa kaming magsasama.

"Matagal pa ‘yong itatakbo nung show. Tingan na lang natin. Pero ngayon, mas focus ko talaga na pagandahin ‘tong Gagambino and hindi masyadong mag-concentrate sa love life."

Dennis praised Katrina for her work ethic and acknowledged their good rapport on and off cam.

"Ever since naman, magaan siyang katrabaho kasi seryoso din siya sa trabaho niya. Gusto niya ‘yong ginagawa niya and sa tingin ko, para maging successful ‘yong team-up ninyong dalawa, dapat maganda ‘yong samahan n'yo, kaya lahat ini-exert namin talaga," said Dennis about his leading lady. PEP

Dolphy Quizon continues his reign as the Philippine King of Comedy as Dobol Trobol with Vic Sotto and Riza Santos opened this week with a bang.Many might not realize it, actually it seems hardly anybody does because our humble blog seems to be the only blog with this information on the internet that refers to it, hehe, but Dobol Trobol is a remake of one of Dolphy's big hit movies from 1960 of the same title, produced by Sampaguita Pictures.

Dennis Trillo, Katrina Halili, and Nadine Samonte will star in the upcoming primetime series Gagambino.

Precious Adona on Katrina Halili: "E, noong nag-taping kasi ako, wala namang ibang ginagawa si Katrina kung hindi matulog lang kung walang take. Understandable yun, kasi, marami rin siya raket. Kailangan niyang bumawi ng pahinga at magdamagan ang taping namin."

Iya Villania and Diana Zubiri will take over the role originally intended for Angelica Panganiban and Roxanne Guinoo in the movie One Night Only. Angelica and Roxanne were pulled out from the project by Star Magic.

Paolo Contis will be seen in TV5's horror show, Midnight DJ, for one one whole season after GMA-7 granted his manager Lolit Solis's, request to extend his stay on the said show. Paolo is part of the cast of GMA-7's Codename: Asero and will soon host World Records.

Dennis Trillo: "Natapos ko na ang Zaido, nakapag-shooting na rin ako ng I.T.A.L.Y. tapos na rin itong Magdusa Ka at nagkaanak na ako at magbi-birthday na nga siya, hindi pa rin naipalalabas [ang Kulam]. Naging problema po namin ay ang scheduling, dahil pareho kaming naging busy ni Judy Ann. At least po ngayon, magda-dubbing na lang kami, at maipalalabas na rin."

JC de Vera was pulled out from the movie "Sundo" as the love interest of Rhian Ramos. He will be replaced by Hero Angeles, who immediately accepted the offer.
