Bea Alonzo never dated Jake Cuenca

Bea Alonzo told the press that she never dated Jake Cuenca and that rumors of their 'break up' were just rumors.
Bea talked to The Buzz yesterday, November 2 saying that there was never a relationship in the first place for them to break up from.

"What's my reason kung bakit ko idi-deny, di ba?"

And what about the rumors that Jake had a kabit on the side besides Bea?

"Aside from wala akong oras gawin ‘yon, hindi pinagbibigyan ng pagkakataon, hindi hinahayaan ng sitwasyon," says Bea. "Siyempre ididistansya mo na rin ‘yong sarili mo sa mga posibleng maging issue."

Bea is currently starring on ABS-CBN's I Love Betty La Fea, the Philippine remake of the Colombian hit telenovela Betty La Fea.

Bea Alonzo, Jake only friends

Bea and Jake:"Kaibigan ko si Bea and I can say na suwerte ako na kaibigan ko siya. It's true na lumalabas kami, masaya kami ‘pag magkasama kami, pero magkaibigan lang talaga kami," says Jake Cuenca about the real score between him and Bea Alonzo.

"It's a friendship na mahirap matagpuan sa show business, something that I will be thankful all my life because nakakita ako ng someone who really cares for me and there's nothing wrong with it," says Bea Alonzo about her friendship with Jake Cuenca.

Rafael Rosell: "I appreciate their concern. Pero, more than anything, it's the friendship that we have established as a group. Hindi ko basta ipagpapalit yun. Hindi naman ako forever na nasa Coverboys, and there will come a time that I have to go to the next level," replies Rafael Rosell to the convincing of some people concerned about the growth of his career.

Claudine: "It's just that parang ang dami-dami na namin. I just needed extra care, extra backup. John Lloyd Cruz Betty La Fea's Armando

John Lloyd Cruz is Betty La Fea's Armando as revealed today on The Buzz. All I have to say is I do know that people from ABS-CBN are reading this blog, because of my cousin who works with them (and GMA as well), so I just gotta say thank God they listened to me and didn't cast Jake Cuenca, and I said to cast John Lloyd and they did. So that's good, because this role requires a really good actor, and the chemistry between Armando and Betty is so important, and it's quite established that John Lloyd and Bea have great chemistry.
ABS-CBN also listened to me sort of when I said to cast Assunta de Rossi in the cast. Well, they cast Alessandra de Rossi instead, and that's great, because I love her and I love that she'll be in this series because she's a great actress. There's a reason why at the age of 16 she won the FAMAS Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Azucena".

Piolo Pascual was a possible prospect for the role: “I’m not supposed to tell, it's a secret. People will find out and it shouldn't come from me,” Pascual said.

Dyosa Anne Curtis Sexy Bikini

Dyosa starring Anne Curtis , Sam Milby, and Luis Manzano debuted on ABS-CBN this past Monday, August 11. This show looks like Warcraft and other Dungeons and Dragons type games.

KC Concepcion: "I feel blessed to have a family that I have. Piolo Pascual Bench Scandal

Piolo Pascual on his absence from the Bench Blackout 2008 Fashion Show: "Hindi talaga ako kasali sa Bench fashion show. Bago man ito naplano, wala talaga ako sa show. Also that day [July 25], I was doing a commercial shoot. So there is no chance for me to do the show."

KC Concepcion 'a.k.a. Cassandra' No. 1 Album

KC Concepcion's debut album now holds the No. 1 spot in Odyssey branches nationwide. Her Sony BMG album titled a.k.a. Cassandra became the top-selling album in a span of just three weeks.

John Lloyd Cruz Betty La Fea's Armando

John Lloyd Cruz says he wouldn't mind playing Armando in "I Love Betty La Fea" opposite Bea Alonzo.

"Ang problema na lang yata ay kung dapat ba na nandoon ako sa show na yun or hindi. So yun, pinag-uusapan pa nila at inaayos pa nila kung ano ang dapat gawin. Sa ganoong sense, walang kinalaman yung title role ang babae. Kung anuman ‘to, I'll be happy to do it for Bea."

Chesca Garcia on Jennylyn Mercado: "E, as if naman it matters to her [that I didn't invite her]. As if naman gusto niyang pumunta sa wedding ko. I'm sure na hindi niya gustong pumunta sa wedding ko. She said rin naman she doesn't want anything to do with my brother, and I'm Patrick's sister."

Bea Alonzo loves Jake Cuenca

Bea Alonzo chose Jake Cuenca for her leading man in the Philippine remake of Betty La Fea, during a recent press interview.

In other words, she's completely insane and has no ability to see talent and to see what's not talent (we still love her though), because Jake Cuenca is not a good actor at all, he's a model. I'm not saying that models can't have acting talent and become full-fledged actors, but watching him in Palos, he still does not have enough talent to qualify as an actor. He's still a model reading lines.

When will people see that? When will true acting talent determine star power in the Philippines, rather than having a hot body and a nice face?

I love Bea and I'm very happy that she got the part, because I think she has a great amount of acting talent. But the role of 'Armando' is such an important role, it's pivotal to whether this will be a successful remake, and it requires a large amount of acting talent, as in Academy Award level talent for such an important role, which should immediately rule out Jake Cuenca.

And this is completely off topic, but Jake has something else in common with a lot of actors in showbiz, and it has to do with a closet.

I'm reluctant to say John Lloyd Cruz because of repetitive love teams, but I'd rather have him play this role than Jake since it fits him perfectly. The role calls for a masungit (grumpy) but lovable workaholic, something John has played before in other movies very well, so he would be perfect for the role of Armando.

Jake Cuenca & Roxanne Guinoo have been rumored to have broken up a lot of times, but the two—especially Jake—often give vague answers when asked about their relationship. But a source close to both young stars has reported that the couple has finally decided to really end their relationship last Holy Week in Boracay.

Rafael Rosell: "May moment ako during my daily life na yung mga kaibigan ko, sinasabi sa akin, ‘Ano'ng ginagawa mo? Okey ka lang?' Okey lang ako. Parang may pagka-possessed, aaminin ko yun."

Railey Valeroso, star of the Regal hit film 'Kuya' with Richard Gutierrez, about his return to showbiz: "Medyo nakakapanibago talaga. Ang tagal ko rin na hindi ginagawa, so parang bago ulit ang lahat. Ngayon, pupunta ka sa set, ang dami na namang dalang damit. Pero siyempre, okay naman."
