Claudine is currently starring in ABS-CBN's Maligno, getting fair but not very high ratings, with Rafael Rosell and Diether Ocampo.

Ruffa Gutierrez, Gretchen Barretto, Claudine Barretto, and Judy Ann Santos were all set for the prestigious Pantene Pro-V Brand Shampoo Press Conference, however, the press walked out on the 4 popular actresses after they got tired of waiting for them to emerge from the restroom.

Pantene launched its Most Beautiful campaign, which also became contoversial due to the "prima donna" issue that damaged the friendship of Gretchen Barretto and Dawn Zulueta.

Industry insiders say that the popular actresses were running on 'Filipino time'. PEP

TV Ratings Dyesebel' debuts at #1

Dyesebel starring Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes debuted at No. 1 with a huge 44.9 percent rating. Maligno with Claudine Barretto, Diether Ocampo, and Rafael Rosell debuted at No. 10 with an average 17.5 percent.

Rafael Rosell's Butt Scenes

The MTRCB has disapproved of scenes in ABS-CBN's upcoming series Maligno where the top portion of Rafael Rosell's butt is showing. Amazingly, we were just talking about how scenes from El Cuerpo del Deseo where the top portion of Mario Cimarro's butt will also not be shown in the Philippines due to the MTRCB. What was Rafael's reaction?

"Huwag lang frontal. Kasi, 'yung butt, parang sa cleavage lang 'yan. Bakit okey lang sa mga babae yung naglalabas ng cleavage. 'Tapos yung puwet, ayaw ipakita? Wala lang kasi akong nakikitang malice sa parteng 'yan," says Rafael Rosell about exposing his butt in the ABS-CBN show Susan Roces Collection Presents: Maligno.

Maligno, Diether Ocampo, Claudine Barreto!

Diether Ocampo and Claudine Barreto star in ABS-CBN's Cineserye 'Maligno'. It also stars Rafael Rosell, Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu, and DJ Durano. Full picture gallery after the jump.

In preparation for the role first portrayed by Dante Rivero, Diether Ocampo opted not to watch the 1977 film so that he would be able to give his own interpretation of the character of Hector. He is the pediatrician who becomes attracted to Angela (Claudine).

Rafael Rosell was hailed as the Best Supporting Actor in the 2007 Gawad Urian Awards for his role in the indie film Rome and Juliet. Rafael is quick to express his joy and gratitude for his latest mainstream project. "I really feel that ABS-CBN really believes in my career as an actor."

In Maligno, he portrays a strange painter who is obsessed with Angela (Claudine). As Lucas Santander, he turns out to be the man destined in a prophecy to be the father of the devil's son.

Gerald Anderson says of his latest project: "[I'm] very, very privileged and thankful because this is my first time to do horror, it's our first mature role and I'm very happy and privileged to work with people like Ms. Claudine and Diet. So very happy po, very happy." PEP
