Gabriela Spanic is 34 years old, 8 months pregnant, posed without clothes for the May 2008 issue of Nueva, & looked like the gorgeous beautiful goddess with the heart of gold that she is. Gaby tiene 34 años y ocho meses de embarazo, y la gran actriz con corazon de oro posó desnuda y embarazada con toda gloria del mundo para la revista Nueva.
'La Usurpadora' was a big hit in the Philippines and led to her visit to Manila which made her a household name, and the worldwide hit is currently airing weekdays at 5pm in the USA on Telefutura. Gaby survived a cancer diagnosis, and the near fatal death of her twin sister last year due to a brain hemmorhage, and there's talk that Gaby will be signing a contract with Televisa after she gives birth, to signal her return to telenovelas after she chose to leave NBC-Telemundo after being under contract with the American company for 7 years.
Perhaps she'll run into Marian Rivera if she ever takes up Televisa's offer for her free scholarship to their prestigious drama school (which they use to cast future actors for their TV shows).

And in a grand encore, the worldwide hit TV show is being re-aired and coming back to television tomorrow. Opening Credits - 'Paulina' La Usurpadora Many people say that 'La Usurpadora' was the basis for the GMA7 program 'Impostora' because of it's many similarities. 'Mi Prima Ciela' is moving to 9:30 am, and the first chapter of 'La Usurpadora' will be premiering tomorrow at 5pm on Telefutura USA. It was gonna be aired at 7 am, but the network people knew how huge of a worldwide hit this novela was and decided to move 'Mi Prima Ciela' to the morning just to make room for La Usurpadora to air at the coveted early evening 5pm timeslot when they know a lot of people will be watching. Telefutura is available nationwide in the USA under Time Warner Cable, which means it basically covers the entire country since practically everyone in the United States is subscribed to Time Warner Cable, on Ch. 26, and via antenna on Ch. 46 in L.A. I know a lot of Filipinos loved this show back home in the Philippines, and many were begging 'Telenovelas Filipinas' for the chance to watch it again, well here's your chance if you live in the US. You don't need to order any special channels, because of course, the US-based Spanish language channels Univision, Telemundo, Telefutura, and Galavision, come as part of every standard cable package in the USA, and are also available nationwide via antenna Ch. 34 Univision, Ch. 52 Telemundo, Ch. 46 Telefutura in Los Angeles. Gabriela Spanic on Cristina, Univision Network, United States April 14, 2008, Gracias a 'GabrielaSpanicVideos' Transcript and Translation to English by R. Arce
-Tonight we have two popular and beautiful actresses very much loved by all of us - Gaby Spanic and Alicia Machado, two famous pregnant actresses on Cristina. After 16 years of work, she won our hearts with her performances in such popular telenovelas La Usurpadora, La Intrusa, among many others, let's give a warm welcome to Gabriela Spanic. I love how happy you look. So what do you guys think?
Good evening, how is everybody?
-If Barbie was ever pregnant, it'd be her.
Thank you so much. You're so sweet.
-How do you feel?
Happy, content, in peace, relaxed, thankful to God for life. And God gives strength to us.
-I just read in the magazines about you, the ring, your new husband. Tell me how this all came about.
I believe love knocked at the doors of my house. I was at the house having a party with friends singing karaoke. I'm the type of person that likes to cook for friends, and have small parties at the house. A friend of mine said she'd bring a friend who just arrived from Venezuela and said "I want you to meet him", and I said "Sure, bring him." I fell in love with him at first sight. Then he started sending me cards and flowers and mariachis.
-He's Mexican?
No, he's Venezuelan.
-He's Venezuelan and serenaded you with mariachis?
Yes (laughs.)
-Very intelligent.
He's very romantic. He has good morals, comes from a united family. And he scared me at first because 2 weeks after we started dating, he said, "You're gonna be the mother of child. And I want you to be my wife." And I was scared at first I wanted to run out the door. But now, we've been together for 8 months, almost 9 months...
-What's his name?
Emil Perez. He's Venezuelan.
- He's not in showbiz.
No, thank God. (laughs)
- Why?
The most important thing for me, I don't want to say I've had previous bad experiences, but after those experiences, I've asked God that the next person I fall in love with would not be an actor or in showbiz. And that he'd have a job completely different from what I do. And he's an architect, of construction in banks. -Here you say he's romantic. Is he jealous?
Yes, but in a normal way. -You did 4 pregnancy tests?
Yes, I never expected it. But I always said that I believe it was God's decision. I felt prepared to be a mother because it was always a dream for me, and it came at the least expected time, but for me at the right time, because I've had a lot of hard times lately, and it's like an angel of hope in my life. It's a blessing from God, and I'm so happy.
-I'd like you to explain to the public how hard 2007 was for you. I've had hard times this past year, but not as hard as yours.
Yes it was hard. Sometimes, life can change in a second. At first, I was thought to have cancer. Two months later, thank God the diagnosis was negative. My mother was in the hospital after a stomach paralysis. My sister was in the hospital for a cerebral hemmorhage. My father had a heart attack from all of the stress. It came all at once, they were very difficult times. But God gave me a lot of strength. I wanted to be in Venezuela with my mother, but I was in Mexico with my sister. Because we always saw my mother, but we didn't want my mother to find out about Dani's hospitalization (my sister), because she was very sick. My mom called me and said, "How come Dani hasn't called me in a while?" And she thought I was still in Miami, and I said everything is alright. And my mom said, "No I know something's wrong". Because it appeared all over the news, newspapers, and magazines, we said "take out the TV, take out all of the newspapers from her room" but she found out eventually. She couldn't even get up, she had a liquid diet. When she got better, she traveled to Mexico, and my sister was screaming to her in pain in the middle of the night and I told my mom, "Mama, give me strength."
-When your sister was hospitalized, she was already pregnant, and gave birth in the hospital.
My niece's name is Catalina, she's beautiful. All this happened during Christmas, we were all together. And I said, "Here we are, we have our health, let's celebrate." I believe everything if you leave it in the hands of God, it will be alright.
Part 2 -You've changed a lot. You're more mature now, I love seeing you like that. This is your first baby, you've taken care of your sister's babies, changing diapers and everything. You were practicing to be a mother.
Catalina is my sixth niece. My brother has 4 sons, my younger sister Patricia has a daughter. And I took care of their babies, and after Catalina was born while Dani was sick, I took care of her and fell in love with her.
-You have a lot of twins in the family. Are you afraid if you'll have twins?
No, I'm not scared. I hope two come, but we're not sure yet. I had a dream it would be a boy, but we don't know yet.
-You're living in Miami now, how did he find out?
He was in Venezuela waiting for me, because he invited me to go to the beach there. And I took 4 tests while I was in Miami, and I found out, and I wrote him a poem called Blue Lion, because a friend of mine gave me a blue stuffed lion to give to him. And I arrived in Venezuela, and I was waiting for the right moment to tell him. Then we went to the sea in Venezuela, and I told him there in front of the ocean. He hugged me, almost choked me. And we were crying out of emotion, and we were there on the boat, super happy and content.
-What's the plan? You're getting married?
Yes. My parents were married for 36 years. I believe in marriage. I continue to believe in love, and for me it means family, to form a grand family. I came from a very united family, so I hope to make that type of environment for my child. We're hoping that the same day we get married, we'll also have the baptism on the same day.
-I just want to thank you for being here, and for during the years that I could not have you on my program, I've missed you a lot.
I missed you too a lot.
-When you make friends, you miss them. And now, let's move forward. And help Dani move forward too.
Yes, I've always been like that, move forward, move forward.
-Never a look backward.
Never.Download FREE La Usurpadora Wallpaper

Gaby Spanic is 5 months pregnant with her first child, and as Robin Padilla's new TV show Joaquin Bordado debuts on Monday on GMA7, so does Gaby Spanic's hit TV show on the same day, and the sexy 34-year old Venezuelan actress has temporarily left Telemundo and the tapings of Doña Barbara to give birth and be a mother. This is relevant, because Filipinos love Thalia, but they also loved Gabriela Spanic, who was loved so much by the Filipinos that she visited Manila in 2000 to perform a mini-concert in which she was flirted with by Robin Padilla, and her novelas were among the highest rating shows in the Philippines: La Usurpadora (shown as Paulina on GMA7) with Mario Cimarro and Fernando Colunga, was shown a total of 3 times on Filipino television, can you believe that, 3 times on 3 different Filipino TV networks, and also shown in over 100 countries worldwide, and Maria del Cielo with Saul Lizaso which was extremely popular among Filipino viewers, with whom she re-teamed up with again in 2005 to do the groundbreaking telenovela Tierra de Pasiones (Land of Passions), which starts airing again on Telemundo in the USA, Latin America, Spain, Europe, and parts of Asia (via satellite TV service) this Monday, Feb 11 at 12 pm because La Mujer en el Espejo (with Pasion de Amor's Paola Rey) ends today. If you're at work, I recommend putting it to season auto-record on your DVR or TV, because I watched it and it was great, and I'm gearing up to watch it again and now I can record it to DVD on the DVD recorder, and on Digital TV now that I got my new HDTV antenna for 40 bucks, wooo! I'm just putting this here, because some Pinoys were asking how they could watch this show on the Telenovela Filipinas forum, so stay tuned this Monday, and you got it! If you don't understand Spanish and you want to watch this show, don't even worry, just get your remote control, go to the settings menu, and turn on the Closed Captioning on your television to CC3 for the English subtitles. Filipino TV ratings below, and Marimar is still #1. Click above for free Thalia wallpaper. As Thalia's novelas get a big response from Filipino viewers in the Philippines with the recent remake of Marimar which is receiving #1 TV ratings every night with a 40% + rating, Filipino fans of Thalia, here's what you've been waiting for, as Thalia, who recently gave birth and hasn't done a telenovela in 7 years since Rosalinda, which was a huge success in the Philippines as it still remains the highest rated TV program in Filipino television history, and had the Filipino networks race to see who could buy the rights to reproduce it (GMA bought it and it will show next year after Marimar is finished, and it will probably star Marian Rivera), is returning to telenovelas with a mini-novela/series for Televisa about a woman trying to find her biological parents in Mexico. Click and scroll down for live performances from Thalia during her visits to the Philippines.
If you're wondering what a mini-novela is, I've seen a bunch of them here on Univision from Televisa, it's shot in HDTV like American shows like those shown on ABC, which limits it to about 12 one-hour chapters at most, and it's shown weekly until it's finale. It's a new way of making novelas, Latin American TV companies are converting to Digital Television, and they're filming their shows to rival American series by upping the production values, and money spent, and it's worth it, because when you watch them, they're not like the usual novelas of the past that look like they were shot soap-opera cheap style (like they're still doing in the Philippines, hehe), it looks more like a movie, which is probably the reason why Thalia accepted it, because only the best for the Queen of telenovelas.
Meanwhile, Gabriela Spanic, another declared telenovela queen in the Philippines who performed a mini-concert and who Robin Padilla sang a song to during her visit to Manila in 2000 and who you'll remember from Maria del Cielo (Por tu amor) and Paulina (La Usurpadora), which was so successful in the Philippines it was shown three times on three different TV networks, GMA, ABS-CBN, and RP9, is filming a new telenovela in Miami, USA and Colombia for Telemundo called Doña Barbara. As for updates on the princes of telenovelas that are many a Filipino TV viewers' fan favorites, especially the females, from Pasion de Amor: Michel Brown is on Telemundo every night right now with Madre Luna, Mario Cimarro is filming a new telenovela for Telemundo in Colombia and Miami to debut next year, and Alfonso Baptista has signed a new contract with rival network Telefutura and is filming 2 new telenovelas now. Fernando Colunga (Maria la del Barrio) and Sebastian Rulli (Rubi) are on TV every night on Univision with Pasion, and it looks like Fernando Carrillo signed a contract to star in a novela for Telemundo as I just saw him in one of their Christmas promos last night. And you're watching Natasha Klauss who played one of the three sisters on Pasion de Amor, right now on Zorro on ABS-CBN.
