Heart Evangelista wishes Jericho Rosales would stop saying bad things about her. Heart also expressed that she is finally moving on, thanks to the help of her family, especially her mom.

Last week was full of reports about the shocking breakup of Heart Evangelista and Jericho Rosales. While on the set of Codename: Asero in Dubai, StarTalk was able to interview Heart to clear up a couple of things related to their breakup after three years of relationship.

"I was upset. Medyo na-upset ako," admitted Heart. "Sinabi ko dati na ayoko sana mag-elaborate, ayoko sana magsalita. Para sa akin, okay na ang 'no comment' ako. Sobrang naging open kami about our relationship dati kaya... Ano ngayon, nagsasalita siya [Jericho] at ang dami-dami niyang sinabi, so medyo na-shock ako. Nagsalita na ako sa Showbiz Central at nalinaw na ang lahat kaya panatag na ang loob ko." PEP

Jericho Rosales on Heart Evangelista breakup: "I guess I have to accept the fact that she said goodbye."

"Here's a man, okay, loving a girl very much and truly. How can I, in my life, at this stage, at this point, dito sa buhay ko, sa sarili ko, pagsasabayin ko ang dalawang babae? Briana and Carmen at the same time? And I'm gonna look like this? Miserable? I don't think I can do that," says Jericho Rosales about rumors that another woman came between him and Heart Evangelista

Walang pag-aalinlangang ibinuhos ni Jericho Rosales ang kanyang saloobin sa hiwalayan nila ng kasintahan niyang si Heart Evangelista sa The Buzz ng ABS-CBN last Sunday, May 11. Ito ang kauna-unahang sit-down interview ni Jericho pagkatapos sumambulat ang balita na hiniwalayan na siya ni Heart.



Unang tanong ng The Buzz host Boy Abunda kay Jericho ay kung mahal pa rin niya si Heart.



"Ang sa akin, tagilid pa yung idea na hiwalay na kami, e. Siguro parang ang labo nun dating sa ibang lalaki noon at sa ibang tao," sabi ni Echo.



Pinabulaanan ni Jericho na nagsisinungaling si Heart nung sinabi niya sa kanyang interview na hiniwalayan niya ang dating boyfriend sa pamamagitan lang ng e-mail.



"Hindi naman siya nagsisinungaling, e. Ako, in denial ako kasi yun ang problema. Paano ko sasabihn ngayon na hiwalay na kami, kung sa telepono, sa text lang nagsabi na maghiwalay na muna tayo?"



Si Heart daw mismo ang nakipag-break kay Jericho at nagsabi nito sa kanya.



"Sasabihin ko hindi, kasi syempre hindi ako ganun, e. Hindi puwedeng ganun-ganun na lang, di ba?"



Tinanong ni Boy ang young actor kung nasorpresa ba siya nang makipaghiwalay sa kanya si Heart dahil hindi niya alam ang pinaggagalingan nun.



"Alam ko yung pinangagalingan. Ang pinanggagalingan nun, yung mga sinasabi sa kanya na mga bagay. Na mga kasinungalingan."



Para kay Jericho, hangga't hindi niya nakakausap nang personal si Heart ay hindi niya kinu-consider na hiwalay na sila.



"Mahal ko siya, e, di ba? Kaya ibig sabihin nun, kung hiniwalayan na niya ako, na hindi kami magkakaayos... Para lang sa kanila, okay.



"Pero hindi mo maiaalis sa akin na mahal ko pa rin siya. Hindi ito matutunaw ng bukas. Hindi ito mawawala ng isang linggo. Hindi mawawala ito ng isang buwan. Siguro madudurog ‘to nang madudurog, pero hindi mawawala ng ganun, e, di ba? Hindi ganun kadaling mawawala ‘yon."



First time raw nangyari sa tatlong taon na relasyon nila ni Heart na nalayo sila sa isa't isa dahil kailangang mag-shoot ng teleserye ni Jericho sa Malaysia.



"Oo, yung distance talaga first time. Long distance kaya medyo ano..." bitin na sabi niya.



FULL OF HEART. During the interview, suot-suot ni Jericho ang singsing na bigay sa kanya ni Heart.



"This is our ring. It's here, here, here... It's very inexpensive, but very, very valuable. And it's simple. It's just a ring na wala lang. Para siyang something...‘I love you,' ganu'n lang.



"I will keep it, I guess. I have a match and I'm wearing it. Like this is the one [necklace] she gave me. This is the first one. She says ‘I'm happy with you. This is a girl and she has the boy, and the heart.' Nothing expensive but all meaningful. So, I'm full of Heart right now. This is the shirt she gave me, and I have Heart written all over my whole personality and character," pahayag niya.



Itinanggi ni Echo na galit siya ng sandaling ‘yon.



"No," buntung-hininga niya. "Can be, but I'm cool. Okey lang."



NO OTHER WOMAN. Itinanggi rin ni Jericho na may third party involved sa breakup nila ni Heart, taliwas sa nababalitang pagkakamabutihan nila ng co-star niya na si Briana Evigan sa international film na I Luv U Virus at ang Malaysian actress na kasama niya sa teleserye na si Carmen Soo.



"Here's a man, okay, loving a girl very much and truly. How can I, in my life, at this stage, at this point, dito sa buhay ko, sa sarili ko, pagsasabayin ko ang dalawang babae? Briana and Carmen at the same time? And I'm gonna look like this? Miserable? I don't think I can do that," pagdidiin ni Jericho.



Nanatili raw siyang faithful kay Heart sa three years na relasyon nila. Pero may nagsasabi naman na gimik lang daw ang breakup nila ni Heart.



"Hindi ko po gusto kahit kailan ang gumimik dahil hindi ko kaya mag-isip ng kung anu-anong gimik ang gagawin sa buhay ko para lang sumikat. O para lang kumita ng pera. Nagsimula po ako bilang artista. Marami po akong...marami akong pinagdaanan. Halos mamatay ako sa trabaho ko. Halos pinaghirapan ko lahat ng ito. Bakit pa ako gigimik, di ba?



"E, alam ko naman binigyan ako ng Panginoon ng talent. Gamitin ko na lang yun, di ba, sa patas na paraan. So, hindi ko... Tatapatin ko na po kayo, medyo masakit sabihing laos ka na, di ba? Laos ba ‘yong pipiliin ko? Pipiliin ko ‘yong roles ko para sa mga batang nanonood sa akin, para sa mga matanda, para sa lahat ng nanonood, sa lahat ng nagmahal sa akin."



Hindi raw tanggap ang tambalan nila ni Heart kaya nanamlay ang career nila?



"Dahil kami? Okey lang. At least, ngayon may foundation na kami. Mas maayos kami na mga tao."



ACCEPTANCE. Sa isang interview ay sinabi raw ni Heart na hindi niya iniyakan ang hiwalayan nila ni Echo. Ano ang reaksiyon dito ni Jericho?



"I can't be hurt," sabi niya. "Sa sinabi niya na yun? I can't. Bakit naman ako masasaktan doon? Hindi naman totoo yun, e. I mean, kung it was like what? Playing manhid or something? No, I can't. That's why I need to talk to Heart."



Hihintayin daw niya ang pagdating ni Heart from Dubai. Bagama't alam niya na hindi willing si Heart na makipag-usap sa kanya. At para kay Echo, walang kinalaman ang paglipat ni Heart sa GMA-7 sa hiwalayan nila.



"Ako, hindi ko talaga pepersonalin yung trabaho. Talagang masaya ako para sa kanya dahil maganda siguro ang magiging projects niya doon."



Basa ng marami, naka-move on na agad si Heart sa breakup nila habang si Jericho ay hindi pa.



"I guess I have to accept the fact that she said goodbye," saad ni Jericho.



Nagpaalam na raw talaga sa kanya si Heart at sinagot niya through text messages.



"She texted me, but I don't know what to say. And I said, ‘Jesus love you. And God loves you and just want to let you know that's it's painful.'



"She didn't answer. Time difference din. But that's what I said. I said, I told her that I love her. I guess it's over. I guess... But when you say over, it doesn't mean you cannot start over again. There's still hope for friendship and maybe someday we can be together ulit."



Naniniwala naman ang iba na may kinalaman ang hindi pagtanggap sa kanya ng mga magulang ni Heart kaya siya hiniwalayan.



"I don't want to say anything about her parents. I can give you an answer. But I don't... Heart's parents, may dream sila para kay Heart. I know how parents are. Kumbaga, I'm touched kung kung gaano nila kamahal si Heart. They have wonderful dreams for Heart.



"I'm sorry kung medyo nagkaroon ng kalabuan ang mga bagay-bagay dahil pumasok ako sa relasyon kay Heart. Pero hindi ko po sinasadya na magkaibigan kaming dalawa kasi ginusto naman namin yun. Pero masaya ako sa kanila dahil nagkasama-sama ngayon sila ulit. Na tutuparin yung pangarap nila para kay Heart na matagal na panahon yun nawala sa kanila, di ba? Kaya ganito ang feeling ko," naiiyak na sabi ng young actor.



Sa huli, hiningan ni Boy ng mensahe si Echo para kay Heart.



"I love you. We're two people in love. We got our problems, but we shouldn't stop there because our love is worth fighting for. Let's hope kung hindi na puwede ang relasyon, friendship is worth fighting for. Peace is worth fighting for. So the best lesson that I've learned in this relationship is the value of each and every one, and my God. And the value of my heart, how much unthinkable of loving Him."

THIRD PARTY. During the interview, Raymond reminded Heart about his previous interview with her. Raymond said to Heart, "Last week, I asked you kung may third party ba, you said, ‘No comment,' and smiled. Tanong ko ulit, Heart, mayroon bang third party?"



Heart answered right away, "Yes, there was someone, there were two girls... In fact, I didn't wanna say it kasi alam mo yun, parang hindi kasi ako ganun, e. But, oo, nagsimula 'yan noong nagsisimula siya ng movie niya with the girl from Step Up 2 [Briana Evigan]."

The 23-year-old actress said that she noticed some changes about Jericho after this. Heart narrated, "Ang laki ng ipinagbago niya, ibang-iba na siya. Biglang... Basta, kilala ko siya for three years at sobrang laki ng ipinagbago niya. Tapos isang beses kasi, nakita ko silang [Jericho and Briana] nag-hug sila sa isang party. And then, hindi ako nagsalita, nagulat ako kasi parang, alam mo yun, iba.



"Alam mo yun, girlfriend ako, kilala ko siya. Nakita ko na may something doon. Tapos nang tinanong ko sa kanya [Jericho] kung bakit sila nag-hug, dinenay niya, tapos after a day, in-admit niya, tapos biglang idinenay na naman niya. E, nakita din ng driver ko... So, alam mo yun, nung naglabasan yung mga taong nagsasalita sa akin na may nangyayari na nga at first..."



While explaining, Heart recalled how she gave up her career and even her family for Echo. "Alam mo kasi, mahal ko siya. Minahal ko talaga siya. Ginive-up ko lahat para sa kanya, para sa kanya lahat-lahat—pamilya, career...lahat. Lahat, everything, ibinigay ko kanya kaya naging bulag ako sa mga sinasabi ng mga tao sa akin."



She also dismissed rumors saying that she was influenced by her parents and talent manager Annabelle Rama. "Hindi si Tita Annabelle [Rama], hindi magulang ko, wala silang nagawa. Matigas ang ulo ko, ipinaglaban ko si Echo."



As she continued, Heart began crying. "Pero ngayon, below the belt na, sobra na talaga. Yung parang pakiramdam ko, ako na nga yung niloko, tapos ako pa yung parang masama. Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit pinapalabas nila na siya [Jericho] yung miserable. Alam mo yun, hindi ko maintindihan yun.



"Nandito ako sa Dubai, gusto kong magtrabaho. Nagtitiis ako dahil sobrang sakit ng nangyari, ng ginawa niya sa akin. Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit ganun, parang siya yung kawawa," Heart said sobbing.

Jericho Rosales-Heart Evangelista Break Up

Jericho Rosales is shocked by news that his girlfriend of 3 years Heart Evangelista broke up with him.

"I'm gonna try to clear things up. I'm gonna know the truth, whatever happened. I'm gonna see and try to make it work," says Jericho Rosales, who is still hoping to have a reconciliation with Heart Evangelista.

"Sad news and, you know, there's been a big mistake," said a confused Jericho Rosales when asked about the alleged breakup with his girlfriend of three years, Heart Evangelista.



In Showbiz Central last Sunday, May 4, Heart revealed that she and Jericho have already called it quits. However, in an exclusive interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Heart did not disclose the real reason of her decision. (Click here to read related article)



ABS-CBN News clarified this with Jericho when he arrived yesterday, May 8, from his month-long taping in Malaysia for his teleserye with Malaysian actress Carmen Soo. He told ABS-CBN reporter Mario Dumaual that there was no formal breakup between him and Heart.



"I, myself, I'm confused, e," said Jericho. "I heard nakipag-break siya sa akin on TV, e, so... On text, it wasn't clear, e."



Echo, Jericho's nickname in showbiz, was not only surprised but he is also clueless about the real reason of their breakup. Although he is suspecting that someone is trying to destroy his image to Heart.



"Whoever said things to her, how come... You guys can show up and say it to my face. I mean, I can talk to you, but I'm not gonna do anything. I'm gonna say, you know, I'm gonna be honest to you and say, ‘Where did you get this?'" the young actor challenged whoever concocted the story against him.



Meanwhile, Jericho dismissed rumors saying that Malaysian actress Carmen Soo is one of the reasons of his breakup with Heart. "Definitely not, no, I don't know about the third party," assured Jericho.



He continued, "You know, whoever is creating this thing... I love Heart, you know. Ano pa bang sasabihin ko? I'm a guy, I could have done anything, di ba? I was so far away, I had so many chances to, you know... But I kept my heart, you know, I saved my heart for Heart."



Despite this, Jericho still has high hopes to work things out between him and Heart. He wants a serious personal talk with Heart. However, he only has several days to stay here before he comes back in Malaysia for his taping. It is also impossible for them to see each other because Heart is in Dubai right now for the taping of her first project with GMA-7, Asero.



ABS-CBN then asked Jericho if he thinks that it is already time to move on. "I can't say I'll move on, I love Heart, e. So, I'm gonna make this work first," the young actor replied."



He added, "I'm gonna try to clear things up. I'm gonna know the truth, whatever happened. I'm gonna see and try to make it work because you cannot decide if there's any... You cannot say it's over if there's no peace. You cannot say that's it if there's no peace in your heart."



Jericho also refused to give a message to Heart. Indirectly, he told ABS-CBN, "I just wanna be careful of what I wanna say because I haven't spoken to Heart, and I don't wanna hurt her on TV."

Jericho Rosales Releases New Album

Jericho Rosales is releasing his self-titled debut album as a solo artist 'Jericho' under EMI Philippines, the same record label as the hugely famous rock band Bamboo. Jericho will also top-bill a drama series to be co-produced by ABS-CBN and Malaysia's Double Vision with popular Malaysian actress Carmen Soo. 'Jericho' features the new single 'Paglisan' which has already hit #1 in the Billboard music charts, and in many Metro Manila radio stations: "Singing changed my career so much. One or two years from now I’m gonna be acting again and will probably be active doing both… right now I just need to establish things properly. I got to be prepared in anything I wanna do but God is good and his timing is perfect. Singing, on the other hand, has defined my career very well. 'Paglisan' is a remake from Color It Red. The new album includes four OPM hit songs with Rosales’ own rendition of Sharon Cuneta’s 'Pangarap na Bituin' also from the teleserye of the same title. Rosales describes 'Ikaw Pa Rin' as a funny and romantic song. Also included is a remake of Joshua Kadison’s hit "Beautiful In My Eyes". Four of his original compositions from Rosales’ Jeans debut album were included: "Ngayong Gabi", "Tuwing Nakikita Ka", "Coming Out" and "Kasama Ka".








Rosales started his music career with his band Jeans. "Loose Fit" also dominated the airwaves with in Malaysia, as it was distributed by EMI Malaysia in August 2006 and was distributed in the Philippines in 2007 by EMI Philippines.
