John Lloyd Cruz, 24, 'dead from drug overdose'

John Lloyd Cruz says he learned only of the malicious text message that said that he overdosed and died from drugs when Star Magic called to check on him.

There were text messages saying that the reason why John Lloyd Cruz was in Medical City was because he overdosed on drugs and medicine. There were also text messages that said he died.

John Lloyd Cruz will star in the Viva Films' remake of Dear Heart.
Sharon Cuneta is still against it saying "If Viva will remake it, it will break my heart. Kahit sino pang artista, hindi porke anak ni Robin. It will break my heart, because Dear Heart is... That's one in a lifetime thing."
