Kristine Hermosa is being considered by ABS-CBN to star in their upcoming remake of the world famous Televisa telenovela 'Rubi', which won the award for Telenovela of the Year at the prestigious TV y Novela Awards in 2004, and which originally starred Japanese-Uruguayan bombshell Barbara Morí, who won the award for Best Actress at the TV y Novela Awards in 2004 for her performance in the novela which launched her international career as a film actress, including her stellar starring role in the hit movie 'La Mujer de Mi Hermano' about a woman married to a closet homosexual (played by 'Zorro: The Sword and the Rose actor' Christian Meier).
