Lola...Once Upon a Time, which started out with low ratings but since has become a worldwide hit in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America, has been buzzing around Filipino TV show forums for a while I've seen, and seeing that I'm not the type of person to keep happiness to myself because I'm not selfish like that, hehe, I wanted to share with all the Pinoys living in the US that this TV show finally at last debuts today nationwide, Monday, March 3 on Univision at 3pm. (Univision is the 4th highest rating TV network in the United States, below ABC, NBC, and Fox, and above CBS and the CW.) I'm gonna DVD it. It's an update on the Cinderella classic, except that in this situation, the "Cinderella" in the story is a rock band named "Lola" that is trying to become famous and the show features a rock/rap music soundtrack, motorcycles, girls in short short skirts and bikini tops, and guys walking around shirtless for no reason, which if you're listening Filipino TV networks, is the guide for a successful teen TV show in the Philippines, which they haven't followed yet to their detriment, hehe. The show also stars Playboy model Lorena Herrera, who you'll remember from "Little Amy" which aired on ABS-CBN a few years ago. Here's a short clip of the rock music-inspired intro, this show became so popular that the actors in the show formed together to become a real-life rock band named "Lola" and released a multi-platinum album, and their first hit song was Si Me Besas, the theme of the telenovela, and read the lyrics I've translated from Spanish, the words are so deep and amazing:If you look deep inside me
