Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera are best friends in my "My Best Friend's Girlfriend" coming out today on February 14 perfect for Valentine's Day celebrations. Happy Valentine's Day!If you watch the videos below, you can tell that what we write in our blog directly affects the people in the Philippines, and at the Filipino TV networks, because just months ago we were talking about how the "love team" concept is flawed because it neglects the fact that the people who are in the love team are real people, with real personal and private lives, and real actors, and then I see one of the GMA producers saying the same exact thing below (who I've been told have been reading this site frequently and our previous pages "Sexy Pinoy: Ilustrado Network"), so I'm glad we could affect the Philippines in a positive way with this blog. Also, in our other website, many of the telenovelas we featured ended up being purchased by the Filipino TV networks, and the fact that we talked about telenovelas so much in our previous pages from 2004-2006, we ended up igniting the new Marimar craze in the Philippines, so we're glad for that, because that is our purpose in life, to inspire greatness in the Filipino people, and the fact that I did that, my Lola would be proud of me. Mabuhay!
The annoying thing about this movie is that it's the exact same formula that has been done over and over again. A rich spoiled boy, a hard working poor girl, hate each other at first, but then fall in love? WOW! That's new! Hehehe. That hasn't been done a million times over in Filipino cinema and TV or on any of Richard and Angel Locsin's previous movies. Oh wait, it has, over and over again. Hehe. But just to see how it turns out, I'll end up watching it anyway, just to critique it and put the movie review here on this blog, so stay tuned.
