Tom Cruise is Vanessa Hudgens' new mentor

Filipina actress Vanessa Hudgens' new mentor is none other than Tom Cruise. Vanessa was taken by surprise when the world famous American actor sat her down for a career chat. Vanessa said that she was backstage at a Spice Girls show when Victoria Beckham introduced her to Tom Cruise and his wife Katie Holmes.
Wow, first Charice meets Oprah and Celine, and now Vanessa meets Tom. Now, all we need is for Isabel Preysler to meet the pope, hehe.

Hudgens said that she was speechless after Tom Cruise, however, things became 'normal' once she took time to listen to his career advice and how to deal with sudden fame.

"He was so sweet and such a nice guy... just telling me there isn't much that you can do, it's just part of your life now. So you have to accept it... He is an amazing guy," Contactmusic quoted Hudgens as saying. She added: "Victoria, Katie and Tom, they are all really great people."

The Tom Cruise interview is a two-day special spanning since last Friday when Oprah interviewed him about the recent controversies surrounding his last visit to her show, and the issue of prescription drugs for pregnant mothers with Brooke Shields.
